The Best Spring 2012 Events in Baltimore
Baltimore, MD – The biting cold of winter is slowly leaving us Marylanders. That’s right, folks, by this time next week, we will officially be in the spring season.
Crisp, cool, refreshing air. Warm, bright, inviting sun. What better way to celebrate the budding season than being outdoors at some of Baltimore’s best events?
From March to May there are plenty of events in the greater Baltimore area that are perfect to attend. I pulled an event from each month that I think you should keep on your radar.
March Event: "Meet in the Street" March 16th and 17th
March is all about St. Patrick’s Day festivities. This Friday and Saturday in Canton’s O’Donnell Square, is the annual “Meet in the Street” celebration, sponsored by the Claddagh Pub and Restaurant. This event is perfect for the 21+ crowd featuring giant heated tents (although with this weather that’s irrelevant) filled with delicious food and drinks and exhilarating live music.
April Event: "Privateer Day" Saturday, April 21st
April’s event to look out for is a day of fun for the entire family. On the 21st in Fells Point, Urban Pirates is sponsoring Privateer Day, a full day of free activities for all to enjoy. Everything from the musical puppet show and pirate ship battle to the live music and food and ale, there is something for everyone to enjoy late into the night.
May Event: "Flowermart" Friday and Saturday May 4th & 5th
In May, it’s all about Flowermart. On the 4th and 5th, the community of Mount Vernon will come together for this annual day celebrating the blooming springtime.
Generations will meet to enjoy a relaxing day, and it is a great way to get in the spirit for Mother’s Day. While the daytime is perfect for walking around and enjoying the architecture, you haven’t experienced anything until you’ve witnessed it all lit up in the evening!
At Bootcamp Lights, we take your message – the foundation of all advertising campaigns, and we display that message directly above prime locations.
