Frederick, MD -- Hardcore Choppers hired Bootcamp Lights to launch a creative advertising campaign at Outlaw Jam; a two-day rock music festival at the Frederick Fairgrounds.
Just as Saturday's headliner, Motley Crue took the stage, the Hardcore Choppers brand was seen hovering above on a digital billboard flown by Bootcamp Lights.
Bootcamp Lights is an original brand of out-of-home (OOH) media, utilizing a custom built R22 Helicopter, outfitted with a 36-foot digital billboard. Authorized by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to fly digital advertising over metropolitan areas, the outdoor media company unveiled its unique approach last month above 80,000 U2 fans at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
In this challenging economy, advertisers are looking for new ways to separate their brand from the competition. Kyle Benham, co-founder of Bootcamp Lights stated, "Hardcore Choppers has a resourceful team who isn't afraid to take risks -- they embrace innovation."
Hardcore Choppers and Bootcamp Lights collaborated with their in-house video production teams to capture footage from the air and ground. Benham added, "These digital videos enable our campaigns to go from out-of-home to online, and shared across multiple platforms." Hardcore Choppers will debut the campaign on an upcoming episode aired on the V Twin Channel.
