Baltimore, MD -- A record crowd of over 80,000 were on hand Wednesday evening to see U2 perform on a 360 degree round stage at M&T Bank Stadium.
Just minutes before the band took the stage, the crowd was seen gazing into the sky at what appeared to be a helicopter – hovering above the sold out stadium.
Fans had begun cheering in anticipation of a U2 entrance, but instead were a bit taken aback as a billboard from beneath the aircraft displayed a SCORES Baltimore advertisement.
SCORES is one of the first to partner with the Bootcamp Lights – a Baltimore based media company utilizing a custom built R22 Helicopter, outfitted with a 36-foot digital billboard.
Bootcamp Lights is authorized by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to fly digital advertising over metropolitan areas.
The digital out-of-home media company just launched in 2011. Co-founder of Bootcamp Lights, Kyle Benham stated, "We couldn't have been more excited to team up with SCORES. It was a great opportunity to demonstrate how we are capable of reaching areas unattainable by other forms of media."
Bootcamp Lights has a full service video production team; using the latest technology to capture campaigns in 1080p; providing clients with creative online video content which can be shared across multiple platforms.
